Sabi Sand Trail Run – 21km Pangolin Run – Sabi Sand Resident

Please Note: This entry is for residents of Sabi Sand Nature Reserve Only.

The 21km Trail Run is limited to 80 Runners on a first come first serve basis.

AMPU/ASA Licenses are required – should you not have a license – please purchase online via this link and add to cart or purchase on the day of the event. 

The organizers reserve the right to cancel or revoke entries based on illegibility.

The Sabi Sand Trail Run takes place in Huntington Village, Bushbuckridge Municipality, Mpumalanga, bordering Sabi Sand Nature Reserve and Kruger National Park. The route passes through Mabarhule, Justicia, and Sabi Sand Nature Reserve.

The 21km Pangolin run is a unique run that is limited to only 80 participants. Runners will embark on a journey through Huntington village, with a section of the route heading into the Sabi Sands Nature Reserve, along the SSNR Pangolin Fence.

ASA Rules Apply:

• The referee’s decision is final
• Obey all traffic officials & race marshals
• The event follows ASA, WA & AMPU rules.
• Minimum age:
  • 21.1KM: 16 years
• Proof of ID required on race day.
• Athletes compete at own risk.
• Registered athletes must wear official club colours.
• 2025 license numbers must be on front and back of vest.
• Temporary license must be on the back of vest.
• Only athletes with official numbers will be allowed into event area.
• Race number must be worn on the front of the vest.
• Numbers must not be folded or altered.
• Walkers:
  • Must have “W” on front and back of vest.
• No seconding allowed.
• Start/Finish Zone Cleanliness is expected.
• Event photos may be taken and used on social media.
